Danny Baker's afternoon show must be re-instated by BBC Radio London.
Danny Baker's afternoon show was axed on 1 November 2012. This action was taken by (to use the Candyman's own phrase) "reams of middle management" at the BBC's local station for London. It broadcasts on 94.9 FM and via other channels. This petition insists that DCM&S must bring pressure on BBC Radio London to re-instate him forthwith.

Detailed decisions on programme content and scheduling are matters for the BBC, reflecting its editorial independence. It is a long-standing principle that the Government does not interfere in programme matters, either on arrangements for scheduling or on content.
