TRAIN NURSES BACK ON THE WARDS NOT IN CLASSROOMS
Nurses should be trained back on the ward starting at feeding and personal care, this would give them a chance to learn how to deal with sick people.
Learning in a classroom does not teach you how to care.
All nurses these days want to be in charge of wards but how can that happen when they do not know what happens at ground level.
Nursing now seems to be about paperwork and giving out medication not about caring.
I have a son with very special needs and would go back to the 80s when the NHS was a fantastic place and nurses cared about their patients.
