a end to double standards in law
yesterday I found out via a news website that the government is planning to make the taking of drugs aka "legal high's" illegal because people are dying from taking those drugs.
now I agree with this proposed change to the law which will hopefully prevent people dying in the near future.
however the reality is Cigarettes remain the biggest cause of preventable death in Britain, causing an estimated 106,000 people to die every year.
and in the mean time the cost of treating people that are suffering due to the damaging effects of smoking is causing the NHS to spend Billions that it can barely afford.
and yet the government is currently cutting welfare and closing down places etc in order to save money and yet does it make sense to permit what is causing 106,000 to die every year and raise the bill of treating people whose health has been damaged from smoking to continue?
