Petition Action

That the UK government withdraw from the European Convention on Human Rights

Additional Information

The government should immediately take steps to withdraw from the European Convention on Human Rights. Ultimate decision-making powers on the ability to deport people in order to protect UK citizens who seek to do harm to this country should rest with the Home Secretary alone.

The current system is making a mockery of the UK government, putting lives at risk, and costing the country millions of pounds in legal fees and security costs.
