Save Southampton City Youth Service
Following Southampton City Councils announcement of proposed budget cuts on 13th November 2012 which will effect Southampton City Youth/Play Services, Sure Start Centre's & Children Looked After, we want these proposed cuts reviewed in line with the Action for Children Paper.
Details of proposed cuts below:-
Sure Start children’s centres, £1m, 12 jobs
Our House residential children’s home to close £788,000, 22 jobs
Children’s service support and management roles £1.15m, 36 jobs
Youth service slashed £765,000
