Job Seekers Work Experiences
Job-Seekers are required to partake in 'voluntary work experiences' of up to 30 hours per week for 2-8 weeks tor retain their benefit of £56 per week. This works out at £1.86 per hour.
This petition requests that the number of hours required to fulfil the work experience be reduced so that it is relative to the national minimum wage, for example for 18-20 year olds the minimum wage is £4.98 so that the number of hours would be 11 hours.
