bring back national service and re-instate the home guard
With all the armed forces being stretched to the limit and most of the time being spent overseas ,would be beneficial to restart national service ( not to mention the advantage it would have in bringing crime rates down by enrolling all people ) in the armed forces and have the home guard re-established in the u.k only to aid in situations like terrorism ,bomb threats and so on and also to build a strong military presence at every port in the u.k to assist in serious matters of illegal imigration at sea and airports round the.u.k .
