To dissolve General Synod and call fresh elections

Additional Information

To request the government urgently bring forward proposals, in consultation with the Archbishops of Canterbury and York, which would enable the present General Synod to be dissolved, calling fresh elections to the Houses of Clergy and Laity.
The government is further requested to explore the possibility of enabling legislation which would assist in the swift reconsideration of the Draft Bishops and Priests (Consecration and Ordination of Women) Measure without reference back to Diocesan Synods which have already expressed their view so clearly on this matter.
