Petition Action

Let Parliament alone decide whether we go to war

Additional Information

Currently the decision to take this country to war is made by the ruling party's cabinet and the reigning monarch. I propose that we remove the monarch's outdated role, and that once a cabinet consensus for war has been reached it is put to parliament for a free majority vote either for or against. Only then will we risk our troops, not at the whim of political expediency.
