Make wearers of high heels contribute to their medical treatment.

Additional Information

The government should impose a levy on wearers of high heels which would be allocated to the NHS to help with the cost of medical treatment required because of the wearing of high heels.
The levy should be based upon (heel height in cm – 2) squared, times £50
This would give the following levies
2 cm height = £0.
3 cm height = £50.
4 cm height = £200.
5 cm height = £450.
6 cm height = £800.
7 cm height = £1250.
8 cm height = £1800.
9 cm height = £2450.
10 cm height = £3200.
11 cm height = £4050.
12 cm height = £5000.
13 cm height = £6050.
14 cm height = £7200.

A notice of 1 metre by 50 cm explaining why the levy is necessary, such as foot pain, foot deformities, a change in back posture, knee osteoarthritis and balance impairment. arthritis, chronic knee pain, sprained ankles and breaks from rolling on high-heeled shoes.
Such a notice should be clearly displayed where ever high-heeled shoes are sold.
