HMRC to investigate use of EBTs in British Football
The recent majority verdict in favour of "oldco" Rangers F.C. in relation their use of EBT's has stated that payments to staff are actually loans which can be repaid.
This petition calls for the following:
1a) For HMRC to proactively arrange, with all those who have received said loans, repayment schedules for the full value of said loans, in order to ensure that neither the recipients of said loans inadvertently break the law by way of tax avoidance and that the state receives all tax revenues due to it.
OR
1b) Appeal the majority decision that has been handed down in the "big tax case" against "oldco" Rangers F.C., given a majority verdict infers there are legal doubts on the decision that has been handed down.
AND
2) A full investigation into the use of EBTs across British football, to ensure no club is using EBT schemes in order to avoid tax, given we are currently living through some of the worst economic times our country has known.
You can't sign this petition because it is now closed. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
