Close the tax loopholes and collect tax in full from the worst offending large companies and corporations
I keep hearing about how HMRC are going after small business owners for tax purposes, and about their plans to target certain industries to crackdown on rogue businesses who may be using existing legal loopholes to avoid paying their taxes in full.
But then I hear about how large companies and corporations have been getting away with tax-dodging, and about tax deals.
This is a time of austerity. These larger businesses and corporations should not be getting away with millions of pounds worth of Corporation Tax. We simply cannot afford to be losing that amount of money.
I suggest starting ASAP with closing the loopholes that allow tax-dodging. And then focus on collecting the tax we're owed as a country from the worst offenders before HMRC even dreams about cracking down on small businesses.
Please treat this matter urgently.
