More financial help for pensioners this winter

Last winter nine pensioners an hour died as a result of the cold weather ,being forced to choose between heating and eating .no government can ignore their plight. We call upon the government to make a one off payment of £500 this winter (in addition to the cold weather payments and winter fuel allowance ) to all pensioners who qualify for a means tested benefit .
