over seas aid

Additional Information

STOP OVERSEAS AID!
as a nation are having severe cutbacks in all parts of our life, from: bins, social care, transport, education, health service, but it seems while it is deemed ok for this government to bring in austerity measures which the poorest people in society bear the brunt and cause suffering not seen in this country for nearly 70 years, (since the WW2) and then to add insult to injury we have to increase our overseas aid to £12.6billion.
(The UK prime minister reaffirmed on Tuesday Britain's pledge to spend 0.7% of gross-national income on aid by 2013. David Cameron's statement, at the UN general assembly in New York, comes despite growing calls from members of his own party to rein in Britain's aid spending.)
I ask that this government stops or at least suspend overseas aid and use the money to cut our own debt
