Comprehensive currency reform

Additional Information

With a Canadian governor at the Bank of England, let's import some good Canadian ideas and make some serious reforms to the currency.

1. Abolish 1p and 2p coins immediately (allow them to remain legal tender for 5 years)

2. Abolish the £5 note (£1 and £2 coins are adequate for small cash purchases)

3. Make the £10 out of recycled plastic and abolish the £20 and £50 notes to raise the cost of tax evasion, corruption and crime.

4. Keep the £20 and £50 as legal tender for 12 months only.

Sensible policies for a better Britain, eh?
