The government should reduce the maximum foreign aid budget by 50%. The remaining 50% will be spent on projects in the UK, in education, housing, welfare of the elderly and the health service. It should ensure foreign aid is only availabe to countries that:
Are not at war
Have no nuclear weapons and can demonstrate no intent of research into nuclear weapons
Have no chemical weapons and can demonstrate no intent of research into chemical weapons
Have no ballistic missile capability
Have no space programme
Aid should be restricted to sustainable projects of food, medicine, housing or clean drinking water and only where the project can demonstrate a successful outcome.
