Heat producing light bulbs for exotic pet care.
The new ban introduced late december 2012 - january 2013 is a major inconvienience for anyone keeping reptiles, fish, invertibrates and all other exotic animals which require the heat and the Uv from the light.
The bulbs used for room lighting that cost about 60-70p were perfectly suited for use for exotic animals.
The reptile or exotic animal pet shops, already charge over £5 for just a regular light bulb, i REFUSE to pay £7 for a cardboard box. With the addition of this ban they WILL put the prices up because of the availability.
I will not be supposting this ban and will have to source heat producing bulbs from other countries or other sources as £7 for a light bulb is extortion.
Yours sincerly MR ANGRY
