Mandatory Headlight Inspection
A requirement for all vehicles to be subject to a mandatory headlight inspection at the time of the MOT to ensure that all lights are working (as already required) and by their glare do not present a hazard by blinding oncoming traffic or through rear facing mirrors when on main beam (normal use).
