Legalise Cannabis in the UK
As well as it being a lot safe than alcohol,
It can be used to treat patients suffering from diseases such as:
- Cancer and AIDs: reduces nausea and loss of appetite.
- Arthritis: Effective in controlling the pain.
- Glaucoma: Reduces intraocular pressure, alleviating pain and slowing the progress of the condition.
- Insomnia: Helps users get to sleep.
If cannabis was legalised:
- Less street crime for the people of Britain.
- Greater tax revenue for the UK Government.
- Less money spent on convicting people in possession.
Cannabis deaths p/year: 0
Alcohol deaths p/year: 8,790 (2010)
"A YouGov poll for The Sun this year showed six out of ten Britons support making drugs legal."
