Stop shops giving free plastic bags to people who don't need one

Additional Information

I want the goverment to stop supermerkets giving out free plastic bags to people who have say only brought one item and don't need to have one.

A lot of people will buy one item and still take a plastic bag even though the item like milk or a big bag of rice has a carry handle so they can carry it anyway without a bag

Kids think it's Compulsory to take a bag just for a can of coke and packet of crisps which then gets dumped in the local park when they have had there food and some people only half fill bags

If people were charged 5p or 10p per bag they would think do I rearly need one the rest of europe charge for bags wales and scotland do and so should we
