Abandon National Lottery Price Increase

Additional Information

An Increase in the Price of the National Lottery is proposed to increase donations to good causes and increase interest.

Look at it based on outgoings.

if you only get 3 numbers once a year and play twice a week. Odds are identical.

Currently
Outgoings - 104, return - 10, - loss 94 pounds.
Proposed
Outgoings - 208, return - 25, - loss 183 pounds.
difference - 99 pounds.

Whilst the price increases by 150 percent, the odds remain the same, as does the likely win ratio.

How many people can afford to lose an extra 99 pounds a year?

One draw - one pound, once a week, live BBC at 8pm, not after Strictly or Merlin.. Scrap all the other games which have National lottery branding.
