Petition Action

Once an appeal has been upheld over an ATOS ruling, claimants should not have to go through the whole process again

Additional Information

If a benefit claimant has had an appeal upheld after having their benefit reviewed after an incorrect ATOS ruling, claimants who have life threatening or degenerative illnesses should not have to go for more ATOS assessments.

Claimants who have had appeals upheld normally have their benefits reduced in winter when the fuel costs and other bills are higher. This means that claimants are getting into debt through no fault of theirs.
