Petition Action

Keep "Formula One" coverage free-to-view in the UK on the BBC and review BSkyB's monopoly over sports coverage TV rights.

Additional Information

From 2012 the BBC is entering an agreement with BSKYB to share "Formula One" coverage. This will undoubtedly mean that only people subscribed to BSKYB's premium packages will be able to watch the races. The government should intervene and keep Formula One - A championship that originated in the UK - free-to-view for everyone and review BSKYB's uncompetitive monopoly over sports coverage TV rights.
