Dyslexia and proposed changes to A level exams
We the undersigned wish Michael Grove to appreciate that dyslexia pupils will be disadvantaged by the proposed changes to the A level system.
Bite size exams and continual assessment cause less stress and encourages greater overall achievement akin to real life.
Much of our worlds wealth and talent has been generated by dyslexics, it is therefore helpful if dyslexics are not deterred from further education.
Examples of talented dyslexics include Mozart, Steve Jobs, Anita Roddick, Fred Epstein, Stephen Hawking, Leonardo da Vinci, Charles Darwin, Galileo, Michael Faraday, Albert Einstein, Sir Isaac Newton. Walt Disney, to name but a few. Surely any University would wish to have this type of talent?
Please re-consider the full extent of your actions before making changes to the current system.
