Don't increase the ratio of children carers can look after
Working in a nursery is hard with the ratios that already stand in place. Rising the number of children that each nursery worker can care for will potentially cause more accidents and may result in children not getting the full care and attention they need.
Instead, the government should be looking at providing more affordable state run Childcare provisions and training schemes for those wanting to work in that area.
