Objection to the HS2 Leeds Link

Additional Information

The preferred/proposed HS2 railway link will pass through both beautiful countryside such as Wintersett lakes and Historic sites such as Newland Hall (part of Newland Estate and stands between Altofts/Normanton and Stanley Ferry and traces back over 900 years. Established by King John of England and to a community of Knights Templar) and not to mention the affect on local housing.
Just because you aren't next to the route does not mean you won't be affected.
Do we need a quicker access to London through the Countryside - NO. We call on the Govt to reconsider these proposals and stop the blight on the affected areas.
