Remove David Tredinnick from the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee.

Additional Information

We, the undersigned, hereby petition that MP David Tredinnick's position on the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee be revoked, on the grounds of his views being diametrically opposed to scientific progress, as outlined below.

i. Mr Tredinnick is a supporter of alternative medicine, a pseudo-scientific practice which has no grounds of evidence.
ii. Mr Tredinnick has made supportive comments in Parliament on homeopathy, despite continued lack of evidence of its effectiveness.
iii. Mr Tredinnick has tabled several motions in support of homeopathy's continued funding on the National Health Service.
iv. Mr Tredinnick has supported chiropractic, and is known to have supportively mentioned the influence of the Moon on blood clotting.
v. Mr Tredinnick claimed £755 on his parliamentary expenses for astrology software, another study with no grounds.
