Childhood Multiple Sclerosis
Why are drugs to help Multiple Sclerosis in children not available on the NHS?
I would like to see all drugs that are available for over 18's made available to under 18's.
At the time of writing this, parents and doctors have to apply to their local health authority and in most cases are turned down for treatment. They then have to appeal and are still not sure of a positive result.
With only 50plus cases in the UK of childhood MS, surly the government should step up and sort this problem out.
