Chris Huhne should repay the £17,000 he was given on resigning from Cabinet to "fight charges" of perverting the course of justice.
Christ Huhne received £17,000 in "severance pay" when he resigned from the Cabinet in order, as he said that the time, "to fight charges" of perverting the course of justice.
Having now pleaded guilty to these charges, he should return the money which was gained under false pretences.
