Tax Religion
The Church of England and all other religions are the biggest landowners in the United Kingdom.
No other such organisation, company or family owns anywhere near as much property or land, so why in these times of hardship and economic unrest are all religions not taxed?
They have a weekly collection and are afforded charitable status.
Collectively religions are the biggest worldwide tax free earners.
This has been going on for time eternal.
Corporations and individual tax dodgers are routinely pursued by HM Customs and Excise and also hounded by the Government and media, yet religion remains untouched.
I propose it is high time religion is taxed!
