Put the clocks forwards in February
BST ends about 7 weeks before the winter solstice and should start again 7 weeks after i.e. mid February. This would ensure there was enough daylight in the mornings and maximise the daylight in the afternoons and evenings. Even if it changed at the end of February that would be significantly better than the end of March and benefit public health, social interaction, the economy and environment.
