Illegal immigration
To stop illegal immigration, require all prospective immigrants to obtain a 'GREEN CARD, from the British embassy or consulate in their home country.
Make the airline / carriers responsible and accountable for ensuring that all their passengers have the right of entry.
No green card, no entry, no appeal - immediate return to the last port of call at the expense of the carrier
