ESA appeals decision making time limit
Currently there is no official time limit for the DWP to review decisions once an appeal as been made after a WCA has said that a claimant is fit for work.
I am one of many that have had to appeal and I have repeatedly been informed that there is a 50 working day guideline but can take longer.
The DWP seem to fail to acknowledge that the longer this process takes the more stress that it can cause for a claimant, meaning that it can take longer for them to be fit for work.
An official time limit should be set in place similar to the time limit set upon claimants who have 1 calendar month to file an appeal with the DWP.
