Full integration of the Metric system

Additional Information

Currently the majority of Britons understand the workings of the Metric system.

Youth are taught in the majority of schools only the workings of the metric system thus the problem of this generation not grasping our ageing Imperial system is imminent.

The only significant use of the Imperial system in modern Britan is the use of mph for travel and pounds and ounces for some food produce, most measurements are made in millimetres and metres so why is it we still use miles for road and travel use,

Many children actually beleive 1000m makes one mile, this is not the case and shows that the current broken or half finished integration of the metric system needs to be completed with the changng of all road signs and manditory use of metric measurements on all products and eventual retiring of this old fashoned system of measutrement.
