Standardize All School Half Term dates
Different half term dates have a massive impact on family life and economic activity. The self-employed lose income and the employed either use up their holiday time or spend extra money on childcare.
We want the government to standardize all half term holidays for state schools and strongly encourage the independent sector to do the same.
If government were to action this petition, it would have far-reaching effects. Holiday activity clubs would be more inclusive extensive and focused. Working families will be financially better off.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
