Continuing Health Care Funding Is A Total Joke
Continuing Health Care Funding is supposed to fund the cost of care for persons who have a "primary health need" for care.
The NHS has concocted a qualifying criteria for this that is so strict that only persons virtually at death's door can qualify. Persons suffering from Dementia, Alzheimers, Parkinsons and many other degenerative diseases, even in the advance stages hardly ever qualify.
This charade has got to stop. The existing system is nothing more that a DoH/NHS PR exercise.
The Government should either provide funding fairly with simple common sense qualifying criteria, or drop the pretence and don't offer it at all. Currently it a joke!
