The size of food packaging in relation to its content should be regulated
The current practice of food packaging being much larger than the product inside is potentially misleading to consumers and creates far more waste than is needed.
Looking at the broader picture, products also take up more shelf space in shops than is needed - perhaps contributing to a smaller product range and a higher mark-up.
This practice needs to be addressed.
