Enquiry into EU makng decisons on bankers pay / bonuses
Following the decision of the EU to interfere with our financial institutions pay and bonus schemes, which such an action is beyond the powers vested in the European Union under the EU Treaty. Article 153 (5)
Therefore the Prime Minister and the Cabinet must inform the EU that we will not be forced to risk our financial institutions when we are putting in place our own policies, created by a parliament which holds a mandate from voters.
If he fails to do this, we will need a referendum before 2014 when the EU expects this implemented.
If the government implement a policy forced on us, which does not have mandate from the people, then the government should resign, for failing in their duty to our democracy
