Explain the Swindon Train Price Disparity
Swindon to London costs c.30% more than any equidistant train fares*.
There is no rationale for this, First Great Western must explain the price disparity with genuine logic and sound rationale.
Commuters on the same trains on the same line pay less than Swindon per KM, how can this be allowed.
*Equidistant locations, Ipswich, Northampton & Southampton. All close to £2,000 cheaper for an annual pass.
The government must force the FGW company to explain there pricing policy for Swindon, noting the close to 30% price per KM travelled compared to similar FGW routes, Hungerford and Newbury.
