when crude oil prices drop, petrol & diesel prices should drop

Additional Information

Why is it that when crude oil prices rise, filling stations and the Government raise the price of fuel. However when crude oil prices drop, fuel prices never drop imediately or at all.
This needs to be changed now as fuel prices are surging.out of control and heading for £2 per litre.
