Petition Action

The British Government should act now to prevent our former and current armed services personnel having to sell their medals

Additional Information

In todays ecomomic climate, the British Government and the large corporations which THIS government has allowed to get away with paying any taxes in THIS country, continues to lead a high profile lifestyle, whilst the country suffers mass unemployment, closures of businesses, redundancies and loss of State benefits.

This Government sits back leading an extortionate lifestyle whilst our former Armed Services personnel are being forced to sell the medals they earned, whilst risking their lives, for this country.

This needs to stop now and the Government must act to ensure these brave men and women, never need to find themselves with no money to buy food or to have a reasonable standard of life.
