Do not arm Syrian Rebels

Additional Information

Please do not, under any circumstances, arm any rebel factions in Syria.

Arming rebel groups is not the way to solve the terrible suffering felt by the innocent people of Syria and will only lead to more suffering in the future.

Handing over weapons to unknown factions will further destabilise the country and region and could lead to increased conflict and suffering across the whole of the Middle East.

Arming Libyan rebels was a key contributor the incident in Algeria and the rise of Islamic Terrorists in Mali.

Please find another way. The proliferation of weapons is not the answer.
