Justice for David Bartholomew
To Mr Keir Starmer QC,
We petition that the CPS re-examines the case of the death of David Bartholomew, killed in a road traffic collision on the A31 junction with Uddens Drive, near Stapehill, Dorset, 20th March 2012.
We believe that the case warrants charges being laid before the court and the evidence being thoroughly tested.
You can't sign this petition because it is now closed. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government responded to this petition on Monday 7th April 2014
The Attorney General's Office have provided the following response to this e-petition:
The Attorney General is always ready to explain to Parliament any decision reached by the CPS. However, a debate could not affect the decisions already taken and it is not fair to individuals who have not been charged to face a debate other than through the formal trial process on whether they are guilty or not of any offence.
