Stop improving robots

Petition Details

Robots are very useful but if you think about it robots have the potential to ruin humanity so there is no need to completely remove robots just we can not let robots let robots advance to take over more of our jobs

Additional Information

Robots are bad yes it makes life easier but there is a limit. Robots have taken over 2.5 million jobs! If we allow robots to become more advanced then humans might as well not exist. We would have no purpose to live which is a common trigger for suicide. Our brains would grow super weak because of inactivity. We have until 2030 before it starts getting bad. Please if you want something to live for and not become a useless pile of flesh and bone i am begging you to sign this petition.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The UK Government and Parliament are not responsible for improvements in robotics or artificial intelligence.

You could start a new petition that clearly asks for something the UK Government or Parliament are responsible for. For example you could start a new petition asking the UK Government to review how prepared the country is for advances in robotics and potentially reaching the technological singularity, if that's something you'd like to happen.
