Tackle racism against East Asians by meeting with East Asian community leaders
Hate crimes against people of East Asian descent have tripled since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many people of East Asian have experienced racism such as racial slurs being shouted at them in the street, being spat at and in some cases physically assaulted.
The government should meet with leaders of the East Asian community and the Home Office should work with organizations like “End the virus of racism” to tackle increasing hate crimes and racism against people of East Asian descent

It is not clear what specific action you want the Government to take. Local authorities in the UK can provide advice and support on organisations that combat racism against minorities in the UK that include engaging with community leaders, including the East Asian community.
There are also already petitions on similar issues to this covering a wider remit.
