Mass community COVID-19 testing to track asymptomatic people.
In the 24 hrs up to 12/08/2020 the UK government had a testing capacity in excess of 300,000 however only tested just over 164,009. They government therefore has excess testing capacity to better track the virus in asymptomatic people.
If the UK Government conducted mass community testing including in schools, care homes, prisons, hospitals and local communities to track asymptomatic in addition to symptomatic people they would be able to track the virus more effectively and implement more efficient local restrictions.
