MPs to suffer the same austerity measures as the public
All MPs to take a cut in their annual salaries reflecting the cuts faced by all other civil servants and the general public. Use this money to aide in the debt recovery process. Further action by MPs in the form of no more expenses claims except for those which would not normally be expected of the role (the same as any private company would do).
