Human Gene Modification Funding

The Department of Health should push for extensive government funding into human gene modification research in order to prevent inherent illness and disability and making it available to the public through the NHS. For example Cystic Fibrosis is caused by a single faulty gene that controls the movement of salt in the body. With extensive research into human gene modification future generations could be freed from such illness.
