Petition Action

STOP THE HOMEWORK, SAVE OUR A-LEVEL GRADES

Additional Information

This petition is being created to stop a mass amount of homework being set by teachers, this is because our grades are being affected as we do not have enough time to focus and revise for our subjects. We feel that if homwork is set to a minimum our grades will heavily increase because we are able to concentrate on learning the theory.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Homework is not compulsory. All schools are encouraged to draw up a written policy on homework which should set out the arrangements made by schools to ensure that the total amount of homework set for pupils either daily or weekly is consistent and manageable for them on a daily basis. They should not be required to work in a way which gives them too much to do on some days and too little on others.
