Non resident visitors tax of £10 on entry.

Additional Information

In 2011 ( the latest data available) over 30 million non UK residents visited this country, while the value of these visits is undeniably beneficial to this country it seems logical to have a similar system to Turkey where visitors must upon arrival produce a crisp £10 note.
Inherent in this system would be an increase in arrival/ processing times but the near £300 million it would levy would more than offset any loss to productivity and enable more front line agents, as it is greater than 10% of the UKBA's total budget.
